Everyone faces difficulties in their lives and sometimes these can be quite debilitating and stop us from being able to live in the present.
Memories and traumatic events from our past can resurface and we are often left wondering why we struggle to cope with them now when we have been able to for so long, Anxieties that we have carried for years start to feel too much and we can find ourselves getting overwhelmed or depressed by things that seem small and insignificant. We find ourselves unable to control our thoughts and emotions and this starts to have a big impact on ourselves and our relationships at home and at work. |

'Shilpa has completely transformed how I cope with anxiety, panic attacks and stress. Her 'client-centered approach' allowed me to really explore my thoughts and feelings and as a result, I have developed my own toolkit to deal with issues in the future. My panic attacks have calmed down and I feel much more in control of my thoughts and feelings'.
'I am now capable of coping with difficult situations without it plunging me into a deep depression, I have a new sense of confidence and amazingly I feel hopeful for the future. This process has been so therapeutic, not at all what I expected!
From being a bit cynical about counselling I have completely changed my opinion..' |
'Kate is excellent when it comes to empathetic communication. I felt deeply heard and understood in every session we had'.
'I very much appreciated her focus on the “emotional body” approach and noticing how I was feeling and in what part of my body when particularly distressing emotions arose when discussing certain topics'.
'I found working remotely with Kate to be a thing of enormous reassurance, and on the days especially when I felt the most dysregulated…..I always felt very safe that I could have these sessions with her from the privacy and comfort of my home'.
